Boehringer Ingelheim’s primary aim is to create new, effective and safe drugs – mainly in order to raise the quality of life of the patients who are given our drugs, but also because it enables us to continue to invest the enormous resources that are required to develop new and better drugs.

The initial research and development of a drug takes place mainly at our laboratories in USA and Germany, and the clinical work takes place in many different countries, including Denmark.
