Recruitment process

 

Boehringer Ingelheim Denmark A/S wishes to attract and hire employees who live up to the requirements of the job and the company both professionally and personally. It is important to us to treat all applicants in a respectful and professional manner.

When we have a vacant position, it is posted under the menu item "Job vacancies". Here you can read about the job and search online by clicking on "Search for jobs". You will be asked to enter some data and attach your application and your CV. When you have clicked on "Send application", you will receive a receipt email sent to the email address you have provided.

As soon as the application deadline has passed, the hiring department will review the applications with the personnel department. After this, four to six candidates are normally selected and called in for an interview. If you are not called in for an interview, you will receive notice of this via the email address you entered when you sent your application. We aim to send these within two weeks after the application deadline. However, in some cases it may take longer.

Normally the manager of the hiring department and a representative of the personnel department take part in the first interview round. In this interview we focus on clarifying whether the job suits you professionally and personally. We inform you about the company and the job and ask you questions about your reasons for applying. We also ask you to describe yourself as a person, as well as your attitude to the behaviour of your managers and colleagues. We also discuss practical issues and other relevant matters.

We normally call in two or three applicants for a second interview. At this stage the applicants usually meet the employees in the hiring department. The manager of the hiring department makes the final decision about who should be offered the job. If you have been to an interview but have not got the job, you will receive a letter from the personnel department or the manager of the hiring department as soon as possible.

You can also send an unsolicited application any time. When we have a job vacancy, we will look through the unsolicited applications that are relevant to the job. If we feel that your application describes the right qualifications for the job, we will contact you.
